About
The Greene Family has owned the a little slice of Stoney Creek Ranch since 2007. In the last few years we had the opportunity to acquire more land adjacent to the original plot which was sold by the O'briens. The O'brien's were the original settlers since President Herbert Hoover. The Aspen grove is prestine. The O'brien's meticulously picked out the undergrowth to make the forest one of the most beautiful Aspen groves in Western Colorado.
Upcoming Events 2024
The winter of 2023-2024 was an average winter with 10-15 feet of snow. The Spring wild flowers are in bloom. Please feel free to inquire about our June - December rentals. We also have several dry camping spots, if you want to bring up your camper or tents.

Carolina is our completely off grid home. It has water from a well that is powered by a solar pump. It has a 20 panel solar grid with 6.3KW of power.

We will do your shopping ahead of time, if needed.
Groceries
Upon Request fee as applicable
We will pick up your groceries ahead of time. No Problem! Just send us a list and we will do our best to fulfill your items. Your vacation time is valuable and you don't need to spend it collecting groceries.
ATV/Snowmobile/Crosscountry ski's/etc..
Upon Request Fee as applicable
If you want to rent equipment from local companies we can have it here waiting for you. Just let us know. We will provide a list of local Vendors that would be happy to fulfill any of your needs.
River rafting available (class I-IV)
Wine Tasting Tours
Blue Ribbon Fly Fishing available. Gunnison River, Crystal River, Roaring Fork River.
Horse Back Riding
We have 2 miles of fence bordering the Grand Mesa National Forest with over 300 Lakes.
Maid Service
Upon Request
We have a maid service for cleaning twice a week. If you would like a maid every day, just let us know and we can provide that.
